The purpose of creating this message board (but not limited to) is to discuss homeless issues in Las Vegas, and to discuss resources and solutions.
Please do not use bold text for an entire post.
Please do not use ALL CAPS for an entire post as it is harder to read.
Please try to be respectful of fellow posters, and minimize personal insults toward fellow posters.
For now there will be open registering to participate. This site will be open to all interested in sharing ideas and knowledge. Also, to start, we will try to keep this site open and with no censorship. Hopefully, we can self-censor so as to keep the site as close to civil as possible.
Also, beware of the "trolls". It is inevitable that they will appear at one time or another.
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia: An Internet troll, or simply troll in Internet slang, is someone who posts controversial messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, with the intention of baiting other users into an emotional response.
My advice is to ignore them. In my opinion, it only takes away valuable time and energy better spent on taking care of ourselves.
So, for now, welcome to the Father Flanagan/LaborDawgs message board. Introduce yourself. And, make yourself at home. :)
